ACOLYTES
Acolytes assist in worship by carrying a processional cross, lighting candles, holding the Gospel book, holding the torches, handing the offering plates to ushers, and many other tasks.
GREETERS
Greeters distribute bulletins and welcome people as they enter the church with a friendly smile. They also assist in answering questions and giving directions to visitors.
ALTAR GUILD
The Altar Guild, with guidance from the Rector, is responsible for setting up the altar for worship each week and for special services. Members work in pairs and are also responsible for maintaining the vestments.
WOMEN WHO CARE
This is another wonderful program sponsored by the Episcopal Church Women (ECW). The committee administers to the sick and shut-ins of Trinity Episcopal Church. Each captain is assigned a month. Their team will send cards, visit in the home or hospital, and take food when needed. The captains are dedicated to the services of our church and its members. The goal of this program is to be the hands and feet of Jesus.
BREAD GUILD
Volunteers participating in this welcoming ministry prepare and deliver a homemade loaf of fresh bread to visitors and newcomers which sign the parish guestbook.
CURSILLO AND HAPPENING
This three day pilgrimage enables the realities of Christianity to come to life in the uniqueness, originality, and creativity of each person. Emphasis is placed on taking the movement's methods back into the world.
LAY EUCHARISTIC MINISTERS
Lay Eucharist Ministers are members of the congregation selected by the Rector and licensed by the Bishop to assist the priest in administering the bread and wine during the Eucharist.
LAY EUCHARISTIC VISITORS
Also licensed by the Bishop, Lay Eucharist Visitors visit homebound and sick parishioners in their homes and the hospital to administer the sacraments of bread and wine on a regular basis.
EPISCOPAL CHURCH WOMEN
The ECW serves as a vehicle for all women of the church to serve their community. Meetings focus on identifying ways to support the mission of the church as well as the planning of fellowship opportunities.
LAY READERS
Authorized lay members of the congregation are scheduled to read two of the three readings and the prayers of the people each Sunday on a rotating basis.
EPISCOPAL MEN'S GROUP
The men of Trinity come together on the second Thursday evening of each month for an informal gathering. The group also conduscts fundraisers and assist with buildings and grounds projects.
INTERCESSORS AND PRAYER WARRIORS
Through the use of a prayer circle each person on the prayer list is prayed for by name each day. Also, each day prayers are offered for the Rector and each member of the vestry.
FLOWER GUILD
Through financial donations given in thanksgiving or as memorials, the Guild provides floral arrangements on the chancel each Sunday and in the narthex on special occasions. A sign up sheet is located in the education building.
YOUTH GROUP
Trinity's EYC (7th thru 12th grades) meets each Sunday at 5:00 pm. In addition to lots of fun and fellowship, the group is dedicated to a variety of volunteer opportunities in both the church and the local community.
