Activities
The Activities Ministry plans and coordinates special events throughout the year in which we come together to celebrate various occasions or just to enjoy one another’s company. Some activities have become annual traditions, such as the Mothers’ Day and Fathers’ Day banquets, the Easter Egg Hunt, the Easter Banquet, the Reception for Graduating Seniors, and the Ice Cream Social. Others take place according to needs, such as baby showers and receptions for special events.
While most activities happen at the church, many take place elsewhere, such as the annual parish retreat, the family campout, and the foyer groups which meet together in parishoners’ homes. The Activities Ministry is constantly trying out new ideas. If you have any suggestions please contact Debbie Lee.
Some important activities which take place at Trinity are sponsored by other groups. The Valentine’s Banquet is sponsored by the youth, the Episcopal Church Women hold an annual rummage sale at which the men sell barbecued Boston Butts and the Youth sell barbecue sandwhiches. The men of the church get together monthly to eat together and swap tall tales.
At Trinity we just like being together, and one of our favorite activities is making new friends. So we will continue to dream up new ways for us to be together.
